Wadi Mujib
Wadi Mujib is a spectacular river canyon that enters the Dead Sea at 410 meters below sea level, making it the lowest nature reserve in the world. The reserve extends to the Karak Mountains, reaching elevations of 900 meters above sea level. This dramatic change in elevation creates stunning biodiversity with over 300 plant species and numerous bird and animal species. The main attraction for visitors is the adventurous Siq Trail, which involves hiking, swimming, and climbing through the canyon's flowing water. The experience of wading through crystal clear water between towering sandstone cliffs, encountering waterfalls and natural pools, makes Wadi Mujib one of Jordan's most exciting natural attractions.
